Title: Never Go Back (1/22)
Characters in Chapter: Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Lisa Braeden, Ben Braeden, Lucifer, Adam Milligan, Michael, Raphael, Balthazar, Sarah Blake (in passing)
Pairings: Dean/Lisa, eventual Sam/OFC, mild Ben/Katie
Rating: NC – 17
Story Contains: Samifer, kidnapping, graphic violence, a disturbing exorcism scene, possible Stockholm Syndrome and all the consent issues with that, sex scenes, kissing, sexually charged scenes, pregnancy, coarse language
Chapter Contains: Kissing, a sex scene, Samifer, hell scenes, graphic violence, coarse language
Summary: After Sam goes into the cage, Dean honors the promise he made to his brother. However, the angels have other ideas about the Winchesters’ plan.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the SPN canon; that belongs to Eric Kripke. I own only my OFCs and OMCs.

A/N: This story is set after the events of season 5 and is meant to be read as an alternate 6th season of Supernatural. I happen to love what I have seen of the actual 6th season, but there were some things I wanted to explore that I knew no one could explore on a show rated basically PG – 13. Hope you enjoy this first “episode”!

Re episode title: De Profundis means “out of the depths.” It also happens to be the title of one of the songs sung in the Requiem Mass which reads “Out of the depths I have cried to you, O Lord.”

If any of you are the praying type, I would ask you to pray for me. I'm having a lot of struggles and feeling a lot of pressure and anger.

Today is good:

- I am no longer sick, after three days of misery
- It's a beautiful blustery day today
- I finished my scene breakdown.
- I live in a country where I am allowed to worship God, say what I feel (so long as I'm not trying to kill someone, etc.), and read a newspaper that isn't run by who's in charge. Moreover, if I don't like who's in charge, I have the freedom to elect another person in four years.

And yet, I keep on thinking of one of my favorite hymns:

We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the Lord.
We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the Lord,
And we pray that our unity may one day be restored.

Kinda depressing that, after 2000 years, we Christians can't agree on much other than that we believe in Jesus and we believe that the Bible is, in some part, true.

All it takes is a blackout to realize how much we rely on electricity. What's your most memorable story from a power outage?

End of Year

violin

Wow! I can't believe that, finally, half my senior year is done. I'm very excited, but also kinda sad: In a few months, I'll hafta leave all my friends behind.

There's also a certain someone I've crushed on for a long time. I think he might like me, too, but probably not. When I leave my hometown after graduation, he'll be going in a different direction. I've enjoyed his company over this last semester, and I'm sure he'll be a good friend this next semester. I just can't bear to lose the one guy who's treated me right my whole high school career.

I keep telling myself this gonna be a wonderful experience. Graduating is good, I say, You're becoming an adult. Well, what about me, the person who's losing everything and almost everyone she ever held dear in these past 3 1/2 years?

Thoughts, please? I'd love some good ideas
